About the event
Brace yourself as we stroll down memory lane with Kiko Choir and Chedi Vergara singing the song "Paraiso", an award winning song that won the 1992 Tokyo Pop Music Festival. This song epitomises a generation Filipino youth in the early 90's when Smokey Mountain singing group popularised songs advocating for environmental and socio-cultural activism.
This is a free community event for families and kids with Filipino heritage and open to all to celebrate Filipino culture and language.
There will be a Kiko Choir Kids singing and fun family friendly activities with the theme: "Balikatan para sa Kalikasan" (Shoulder to shoulder with nature).
Thanks to our event partners, The Filipino Choir of St Francis Church Inc (The Kiko Choir), Philippine Consulate General Melbourne and sponsors, MLV Group and Tambayan and Mama Sita's.
